We have hit the 100 day mark of Trump 2.0. There are network TV specials, a slate of sitdown interviews, and Trump is doing a rally in Michigan where he destroyed the campaign of a possible 2028 rival:

Somewhere an attack ad campaign writer is drooling into their keyboard. This is Whitmer’s second Trump photo-op this year! You can’t be at his rally! He’s your rival! Who are you, Angel Reese at the 2024 WNBA Finals wearing a split jersey of two different teams that she played against that season?

The Trump rally is a huge blow to Big Gretch, who’s battling Senator Elissa Slotkin (also from Michigan) to own the 2028 primary lane of “What if Democrats did Trumpism but were nicer about it?” But we’re still a ways away from those primaries, and still a year and a half from The Midterms That Will Tell You If You Should Move.
So what can we do, 100 days into this hellscape?
